The Genesis (2009)

Kiran Teachers' Training College (KTTC) was established in 2009 with a profound vision to revolutionize the landscape of higher education and professional training in the Mithilanchal region. Founded on the core principles of academic excellence, equity, and accessibility, the college set out to bridge the gap between rural potential and modern professional opportunities.

Foundational Milestone in Teacher Education

The institution began its journey by addressing the vital need for highly qualified and trained educators in Bihar. KTTC secured formal recognition from the Eastern Regional Committee (ERC) of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), New Delhi. Strategically aligned with regional academic benchmarks, the college established its prestigious academic foundations through its affiliation with Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga for its degree programs, and the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB), Patna for its diploma courses.

Over the years, our foundational programs—the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.)—have produced generations of innovative, empathetic, and digitally smart educators who are currently leading classrooms across the state and the country.

Evolution into a Multidisciplinary Institution

As the global economy transformed and technology reshaped industries, KTTC recognized the growing demand for diverse professional skills beyond teacher training. Driven by this progressive outlook, the institution expanded its academic horizon to transition from a dedicated teacher training hub into a vibrant, multidisciplinary center of higher learning.

By introducing the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programs, the college strategically diversified its curriculum. This milestone empowered students from diverse academic backgrounds to pursue high-tech IT careers and leadership roles in business management right from our campus.

Today, Kiran Teachers' Training College stands as a premier institute featuring state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern ICT computer labs, dedicated methodologies labs, and an enriched library network. Blending a rich heritage of teacher education with modern corporate and technical training, KTTC continues its journey forward—empowering the youth of today to become the visionary teachers, tech innovators, and corporate leaders of tomorrow.
